2. Understanding Tantrums

After this 2 Part Masterclass, you will understand how your child's brain works and be able to better understand the stressors in your child's life. We'll get you equipped to understand feelings, and give your child the experience and words they need to understand what's going on, so they can get on with enjoying life. You will have practical, easy-to-use solutions, that will help you and your child handle big emotions with confidence.

Session 1

• Where does emotional regulation begin? 
• What can you do as parents to support the positive development of emotional intelligence and become more confident in dealing with big feelings in your home?
• What kind of emotional management tools do you want to equip our children with? 

In this fast paced world, having a healthy ability to 

• regulate emotions, 
• read emotions, 
• keep your cool, 
• express yourself aptly, 
• socialize and work well with others, and 
• be able to manage stress and anxiety well into adulthood are paramount.

After all isn’t that what our generation seeks most, a sense of well being? Do our parenting strategies promote that same wellbeing lifestyle we seek in our children?

Session 1 will help you be more aware of their feelings, perceptions and needs, so you can build on their skills.
